We’re here for professional actors and their families…
To be eligible for support from ACT at the Royal Theatrical Fund (RTF), you must have worked professionally as an actor for at least seven years. This can include time spent in professional training.
Acting should be your main profession or occupation, and you may be asked to provide evidence of your professional experience and career.
We recognise that careers are not always straightforward. We understand that illness, personal crisis or taking time away from work to have a child can affect your ability to work. We will take these circumstances into account when considering your application.
There is no income threshold for eligibility. However, we will ask you to provide information about your financial circumstances so that we can understand your needs and assess what support may be appropriate.
Please send us your CV of paid acting work (Spotlight CVs accepted) to act@trtf.com. If your CV doesn’t meet our criteria due to barriers to work, just let us know.
Eligibility is reviewed confidentially by our team and usually confirmed within a few days. If eligible, we’ll send you a short application form.
It can make a big difference to the families we support
